On this Veterans Day, we pause to honor and express our deepest gratitude to the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Their sacrifices—whether on the front lines, in the air, at sea, or in service behind the scenes—have protected the freedoms and values we hold dear. Veterans embody courage, selflessness, and resilience, answering the call to defend our nation, often at great personal cost.
We are able to safely and freely assemble, meet as a community to plan youth soccer activities, attend church, attend tailgates, block parties, and so many other valuable freedoms because of the investment, and too many times, the ultimate sacrifice our veterans have made.
Today, we reflect on the rich legacy of service that has shaped our country, from the trials of war to the quiet dedication of those who have served in peacetime. Whether in times of conflict or peace, the commitment of our veterans is unwavering, and their sacrifices, large and small, have made the world a safer place for all of us.
As we remember them today, let us renew our commitment to ensuring that their contributions are never forgotten. Our freedom is their gift, and their bravery continues to inspire future generations. To all the veterans—Thank You for your service, your dedication, and your unwavering patriotism. We owe you a debt that words can never adequately repay.
