From registration to scheduling, these folks make it possible for the games to be played. Honoring the administrators is my favorite part of the awards gala.” Angel Hall
In addition to honoring players, administrators, and coaches, the Gala celebrated the invaluable contributions of referees and officials who ensure the integrity and fair play of the game. Beyond individual accolades, the Awards Gala also highlighted the achievements of clubs, leagues, and community organizations that have played a pivotal role in promoting soccer at the grassroots level. These organizations were commended for their initiatives to make soccer accessible to all, foster diversity, and inclusion, and create opportunities for youth development and player enrichment.
“The Indiana Soccer Association prides itself on making soccer the premier sport for all. Membership benefits include free coaching education courses, allowing coaches the opportunity to increase their knowledge of the developmental needs of the individuals and teams with whom they have the pleasure of working with. Players benefit from trained coaches to assist in their development while competing in the only state-run league structure in the nation. As the State Director of Coaching Education, it is a pleasure to help develop these coaches”, stated Steve Franklin Director of Coaching Education.
Amidst the fervor and celebration of soccer’s traditional facets, the Indiana Soccer Awards Gala shone a spotlight on a lesser-known yet profoundly impactful segment of the sport: Power Soccer. In a heartfelt acknowledgment of inclusivity and diversity, the Gala featured Dominic Russo – the Inaugural President of The United States Power Soccer as a guest speaker honored the remarkable contributions and achievements of US Power Soccer at the world-cup. “On behalf of the entire Power Soccer US National Team I want to express their thanks for this award from Indiana Soccer.
